3 Years of Learning by Doing – Workshop on Entrepreneurship by our CEO

These days, we hear a lot of talk about entrepreneurship and starting online businesses, especially us wordpress.org users, who just love building great things on the web. Some people say it’s easy, some say it’s tough. One thing is clear though, entrepreneurship is something that you either learn by doing, or you learn it from a mentor (who also makes you do stuff).
I am happy to be in the awesome team that develops Squirrly SEO, here at Squirrly UK, because I get to learn a lot about what it means to make decisions and to have responsabilities. Our CEO, Florin Muresan, is usually making us think like entrepreneurs, even if we don’t realize it most of the times.
There was an article that Florin published on a media site owned by the biggest Media Holding in Romania, Adevarul.ro, where he struck up a heated conversation on why entrepreneurship is the right way to go. This guy, whatever his name was, said to him at one point: “Oh, you talk a lot about starting up businesses and building products, but wait a second.. do you encourage your employees to become entrepreneurs?” And Florin said: “Yes.” That nearly ended the conversation with applauds. Seriously.
He is a great mentor and the people who are in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, next week and who want to start a business can have him as a mentor next Thursday, on April, the 11th at Iulius Mall and Hotel UniversT, from 14:00 to 16:00.
Read about his workshop and what you can learn from him here. It’s free to attend and a lot of value will be provided to you by a seasoned entrepreneur who knows both how to fail and how to win. Not from books, but from personal experience (+ from advising other startups).
