This one has been years in the making.
We started working on Email Hero by AISQ | Squirrly in Q4 2020. Since then, we’ve used it ourselves, tested it with paying customers, and kept improving it based on what we’ve learned along the way.
On September 30, 2026, we moved Email Hero out of Closed Beta and into Early Access. With that milestone behind us, we’d like to share a closer look at some of the things we’ve built along the way, including:
- The Email Deliverability Assistant, which helps you check your emails before sending them.
- FRAMES, which lets you adapt emails for different audiences.
- The integration with Next Level Marketing AI, which helps you organize and automate email campaigns.
Here’s what these features can do for you.
Email Hero by AISQ | Squirrly Has Entered Early Access
On September 30, 2026, we opened Email Hero by AISQ for Early Access, bringing the Closed Beta period to an end.
During its development, we’ve been building and testing the platform around the practical challenges of email marketing, including sending messages to different audiences, managing templates, organizing campaigns, and avoiding duplicate sends.
We’ve also been using Email Hero within the AISQ ecosystem. The move to Early Access marks the next stage for the platform, as it becomes available beyond its previous Closed Beta environment.

The Email Deliverability Assistant Is Now Available in Early Access
Use this assistant to send emails that actually reach the INBOX. And reach a good folder, not the Spam folder.
The assistant reviews an email before it is sent, checking elements such as its structure, formatting, links, images, HTML balance, and words that may trigger spam filters. It provides a deliverability score and guidance to help you identify potential issues before sending a campaign.
This gives you an opportunity to review the message and address problems before it reaches your audience, rather than relying on guesswork during campaign preparation.

Email Hero FRAMES: Templates That Keep the Message Body Intact
If you’ve ever reused an email campaign for a different audience, you may know how much work can go into changing the template along with the message.

We ran into this problem ourselves. When sending emails to different groups, our team often needed to copy an existing email, adjust its branding, and rebuild parts of the design. That created extra work and more opportunities for formatting mistakes.
That experience helped shape FRAMES, Email Hero’s approach to email templates.
Instead of treating every email as a complete design that needs to be rebuilt, FRAMES separates the main message from the surrounding template elements.
The email body can contain the content you want to communicate. The frame handles elements such as the greeting, logo, branding, signature, and other recurring parts of the message.
When you create another version of an email, you can change the frame while keeping the main body intact. You can also adapt the message for a particular audience when needed.
For example, an email sent to readers of our Chief Content magazine can use the magazine’s branding and greeting. A message intended for a different product or audience can use its own frame instead.
This approach also helps keep recurring elements, such as signatures, consistent across emails that use the same frame. You don’t have to recreate those elements every time you create another message.
One Original, Different Iterations
FRAMES also works alongside Email Hero’s Original + Iteration system.

You can create a new version of an existing email for another audience without treating it as an entirely unrelated campaign. Email Hero recognizes the relationship between the original message and its iterations, helping prevent a contact who already received the original from receiving the same communication again through another list.
That means you can adapt an email for different audiences while keeping the relationship between those versions clear.
We’ve published a video in which Florin Muresan, CEO of AISQ | Squirrly, demonstrates how FRAMES works, including how to reuse templates and create email iterations for different audiences.

Email Hero and Next Level Marketing AI: From Content to Scheduled Emails
Email Hero and Next Level Marketing AI work together so that content created and approved in Next Level Marketing AI can be sent through Email Hero according to rules you configure in advance.
This connection brings content creation and email delivery into the same workflow. Instead of manually creating a separate automation for each new piece of content, you can configure the relevant settings in Email Hero and let the system apply those rules to subsequent emails.
Configure Your Sending Schedule inside Email Hero Once, and Let Automation Handle the Rest
Within Email Hero’s settings, you can connect Next Level Marketing AI and configure a schedule for its automated campaigns.
You can choose the days and times when emails should be sent. You can also select the appropriate FRAME (templates), audience, and sender profile for the messages.
Once those settings are saved, newly approved content from Next Level Marketing AI follows the schedule and configuration you established.
For example, you might configure emails for a particular audience to go out on Mondays and Fridays, using a specific sender profile and a FRAME (template) designed for that audience.
When new content is approved in Next Level Marketing AI, Email Hero applies those settings without requiring you to build a new automation for every incoming email.
This is useful when the same workflow needs to handle recurring campaigns while keeping the sender, audience, template, and schedule consistent.
See the Automation Workflow in Action
We’ve published a video showing how the connection works, from configuring the integration and choosing a schedule to selecting an audience and FRAME.
The video also shows how the settings determine what happens to content after it moves from Next Level Marketing AI into Email Hero.

Campaign Labels Make Your Email History Easier to Navigate
Use campaign labels to easily organize emails inside Email Hero.

Labels let you group and find campaigns by their purpose or source. For example, emails generated through Next Level Marketing AI can carry an NLM label, making them easier to identify in the campaign archive.
You can then filter your emails by label to find the messages associated with that workflow. This helps you distinguish automatically sent campaigns from other emails and review the relevant messages without searching through the entire archive.
Labels can also be used to organize other types of campaigns, such as product communications or emails associated with specific business activities.
This becomes super useful when you manage many campaigns and audiences. Rather than relying on memory to work out which email was sent, you have a way to organize and retrieve that history inside the platform.

In the video , we also show how to filter the email archive by the NLM label and find messages that were created through Next Level Marketing AI and sent using Email Hero.
What’s Next for Email Hero?
Email campaigns involve more than writing an email and pressing send. You need to check deliverability, adapt messages for different audiences, make sure approved content goes out at the right time, and keep track of what was sent.
These are the kinds of everyday challenges we’ve been working to make easier with Email Hero. The Email Deliverability Assistant helps you check emails before sending.
FRAMES lets you adapt the look and feel of a message without rebuilding it from scratch. And the Next Level Marketing AI integration helps you turn approved content into scheduled campaigns, while labels make those campaigns easier to find later.
Moving into Early Access on September 30, 2026, was an important milestone for us. After years of working on Email Hero and using it ourselves, we’re glad to be opening it up to more people. We’ll keep sharing demonstrations of Email Hero’s capabilities so you can see how these workflows operate in practice.
If managing email campaigns has started to feel like too many little tasks to keep track of, we hope these capabilities can help make the process simpler.
Email Hero by AISQ | Squirrly is now in Early Access.
